Polaroid 420 Automatic Land Camera

The 420 was Polaroid's 1971 entry-level offering in the 400-series — fixed-focus plastic lens, electric-eye automatic exposure, no adjustments. Point and press. It was designed to be inexpensive and it succeeded at that. Type 80-series pack film stopped in 2016.

There is a disclosed defect: the battery/film door cover is detached and sitting loose. It is not confirmed to seat properly. The second photo shows it clearly — the door is off the camera body. The bellows appear intact. Normal wear throughout otherwise.

Condition: Untested, sold as-is. Battery/film door detached and loose — does not confirm to seat. Included: Camera and strap. No flash, case, or box. Price: $10 CAD. Pickup preferred; shipping available.
The price reflects the door. A buyer with patience for plastic tabs might get lucky.
