Solution Intelligence
Layer: Solution | Phase: Pilot Design (Weeks 2-4) | Status: Pending — populates after gate-1 passes
This layer answers: what's the pilot, how complex is integration, what does it cost, what's the value hypothesis, how do we know it worked?
Pilot Scope & Design
To be populated post-discovery.
- Pilot project: TBD (recommendation: P2 customer, e.g., Heliene or Midwest)
- Anchor gate: TBD
- Achievements in pilot: Achievement 1 (Engineer's Lens) + Achievement 2 (Team Lead's Cockpit)
- Workflows in scope: TBD — typically capture, decision-ledger, timesheet auto-draft, status cockpit
- Workflows out of scope (off-ramp): TBD
Integration Complexity
Complexity drivers per system:
| System | API | Complexity |
|---|---|---|
| Jira | Standard REST | Low/medium (depends on custom fields) |
| Smartsheet | Standard API | Low |
| Timesheet workbook | File-based | Low/medium |
| CAD/EDA | TBD | Unknown until tools confirmed |
| Identity / SSO | TBD | Unknown |
Effort & Cost Estimate
Filled at gate-2.
- Atomic47: [N] engineer-weeks
- Daanaa: [N] engineer-weeks pairing + review
- Cost range: [$X-$Y]
Value Hypothesis
Primary: Capturing engineering reasoning and decisions passively — projecting them into existing artifacts — reclaims minutes per engineer per day, makes timesheet entries auto-generated and accepted, and gives team leads a live cockpit they don't have to assemble.
Secondary: ISO audit surface reduces because traceability becomes automatic; IP class metadata travels on every record.
Success Metrics
Concrete and falsifiable:
- 20-30% reduction in documentation creation time
- 15-25% cycle-time improvement (design to review to gate)
-
=90% on-time gate readiness
- Defect / rework reduction vs baseline
- User satisfaction >= 4/5
